Wow... Just... wow

I went and saw the Broadway touring company of Jesus Christ Superstar. I've always like Superstar, so this was exciting.
Oh my GOD... This was the highest level of performance I think I've ever seen. Just raiting it on the sheer quality of the production, it was probably the best thing I've ever seen.
Seriously, After Judas sings the prolague I turned to mom and whispered "Wow, that's the best I've ever heard that song performed." And it just went up from there.
I never "missed" anybody. You know (Kim, I KNOW you know) how when you see a show you've seen/heard different casts of before, there are always points when you hear a song a number and you miss how so-and-so did it? or how such-and-such a cast sounded on it?
This is the first time I've seen a show I'm familiar with it and didn't have that happen. Seriously... I liked it as well as my origonal album, broadway cast, movie cast, video cast, london cast... etc. It was just that good. And Superstar is one I like, so I'm particular about it.
The sets were gorgeous, the lighing was a specticle, and the cast was as good as anything I'd ever heard.
Joan Amidella (major SP I'm just trying to get in the ballpark there) was in the chorus. Kim, she was our Fantine in the '99 cast of Les Miserables we followed, remeber? That was the elevel of the CHORUS.
Wow...
Just wow...
P.S. I did this last night at the show and I think everyone should do it once.
Yes, it is OK to wear a black dress with red shoes.
