A grim novelization of a little known Grimm fairy tale.

Oh, which one? The Grimm Brother wrote some gnarly stuff, and so much of it is completely ignored by most people these days.

It's called "The Six Swans." Sometimes, it's Seven and not six, and sometimes it's called "The Wild Swans." Hans Christian Anderson also has a version. I plan to combine elements.

Oh, I like that one! I think I tried to write a novelized version of that when I was 11 or 12 but didn't get very far. <3

There are two that I found, one was a continuation called "The Seventh Swan" and the other is a novel called "Swan Kingdom." but from what I can tell "The Seventh Swan" isn't even in print anymore, and mine will not be a young adult novel, so like I said before, I think I'm safe.

Oh, lots of potential in that one. Good luck. Sounds like lots of fun.

Thank you, I'm excited. The image that stuck with me was the youngest son being left with a swan's wing for an arm because the last shirt was not complete. That alone has potential.
