Dance class was great! And with the lovely missraederle there it was even better! Fun! I love that, girl, and can't wait 'till next week.

And on the sewing front! Squee! I fixed my own problem. Ok I know it's lame but it made my day. I had a very, very light flowy stretcy tight-woven knit that I'm making my scrummy harem pants out of, but the sewing machine was doing NOTHING for it. I mean... I might as well have not threadded the machine and run it threw for all the good it did.

I was getting frustrated. I switched to a lightweight thread to no avail, and finally I remembered a package of sewing machine needles I baught when I first got the machine in case I broke one. I looked and it said that one of the needles was for "lightweight knits" and it did indeed look different from the needle in the machine and I figured out how to change the needles and got it to work. My harem pants are half done now.

Ha HA! Sewing machine and slinky fabric, you are no match for me! Ha ha!

Ok I'm a dork but it made me feel good that I managed to get it to work. Sue me.
