Took Long Enough
Sep. 21st, 2005 11:14 amI've had my permit and been practicing driving for a while now. And, they say you should learn to drive and take your drivers test in the car you'll be driving so...
I'm getting a car!
The manager of the garage my mom takes her car too loves fixing up cars and he sells them for some extra money. He's been a mechanic for 15 years and is really good.
It's a late 80's ford with a few dents and a crack in the windshield and the apolstry isn't so hot, but on the inside it had new EVERYTHING. The engine is completely redone so it's totally cherry and so clean you could eat off of it. It as new breaks, new tires, and a new CD player and the works and gets nearly 30 miles per gallon.
He's taking it to see if it passes emissions and we're taking it to a seprate mechanic for a second opinion and if it everything checks out it's mine.
