So, I canceled my shift at work today, something I never do.

Last night I went to the doctor about the swelling behind my ear, which had not gone down. He said it wasn't my gland, but a cyst. He stuck it with a needle and drew a bunch of thick sickly yellow fluid out o fit, and wrapped a pressure bandage around my head to keep it from swelling back up.

This morning it HAD swelled back up AND I was running a fever. So, I called work, said I couldn't come in, and called the doctor.

Now I'm on antibiotics and putting heat on it to help it drain. Icky.

I've been feeling all tired all day.

I also have the hiccups.

At least with the hiccups, you can cure yourself by shoving a tampon up your nose.

WAaaa!!! A cyst??? O_o Whyyy????

I had a tumor inside the left side of my head when i was young; it was rignt behind the ear. the tumor ate my two small ear bones and my ear drum. I had an operation to take it out, consequently i got a mohawk XDD

I believe the Dr's words on the subject were: "I'm not sure what triggered ti, but with cysts we frequently don't."
