I'm a little behind, but it isn't bad. I'm going to make it still!
Last week was fun what with the Les Miserables concert theater-cast (or whatever they call it) AND the Harry Potter release. But, I've got some new hours with work and I've been just exhausted. Even in the theater Thursday night I knew my battery was running low. Friday and today my stomach has been blah, but oh well... took a nap today and am expected to be on the mend by Monday.
In other news, I actually got paid to write something. I got the check for the coloring book I was writing/drawing for the local water district. This week I actually got to hold a printed copy of something I wrote and drew in my hand... something published for public distribution. Ok, it's just a coloring book for the district to hand out to kids, but it's something.
That's not all though, this may lead to a contract to do work for some of the other districts. Apparently my work was shown at a district meeting so there's a good chance I'm going to get other work from this. Wow.
