I think I worked it out.
Apr. 21st, 2009 08:17 pmOk... so there's DEAD dead. That's where you're like, REALLY dead.
Then there's Prime Time drama dead. That's were you are in fact dead, but you come back very regularly either in flashbacks or to dispense advice to your grieving loved ones in dreams and stuff, and your death and its impact is still a big part of the plot.
THEN there's Soap Opera dead. That's where you die but if the actor that plays you wins a major award or gets voted "best" or "sexiest" SOMETHING you get to come back.
FINALLY there's comic book dead. That's where you get a big dramatic death scene and get brought back at will with the flimsiest of excuses and is basically meaningless.
Does that sound right?
