Why is this so hard?
Mar. 20th, 2009 01:30 pmSexual orientation is not defined by sexual activity. You can choose sexual activity. You cannot choose an orientation any more than you can choose any other part of your genetic makeup.
1. If you are sexually attracted to members of your own gender, you are gay.
2. If you are sexually attracted to members of the opposite gender, you are straight.
3. If you are sexually attracted to members of both genders then you are bisexual.
Yes, it's more complicated than this, but this is the run down.
1. If you are gay and you choose to have straight relationships, it does not make you straight.
2. If you are straight and you choose to have gay relationships, it does not make you gay.
4. If you are bisexual and you choose to limit yourself to gay relationships, it does not make you gay.
5. If you are bisexual and you choose to limit yourself to straight relationships, it does not make you straight.
Activity does not change the orientation.
This isn't rocket science people.
