Hope

Well... now begins the summer.

It turns out there's a good shot that we can get the volunteer work I did the summer before last at the children's theatre camp turned into college credit, and if we can the head of the theatre department says that he could use that to substitute for my missing class. (see last post)

This is a good thing.

Bad thing: I'd really had my heart set on working at Barnes and Noble but it doesn't look like it will happen. Nothing is for sure yet but it doesn't look great. Shame, I really wanted their employee discount. Maybe I can find something just as good... Hastings maybe, or Boarders. Humm... Must see what's on the bus line.

I need to work this summer. I've already been awarded finanacial aid before I worked so if I work all summer I'll have whatever money I earn PLUS FULL financial aid the quarter I student teach.

Woot.

That would be SWEET.

I can't believe it

I walk in the morning.

My voice teacher shows up with a gorgeous neclkace from the macy's jewlery counter for me for graduation.

My dad shows up with a dozen red roses.

My brother's downstairs bitching about getting up early.

Man... it's just... weird. Surreal.
