I HAD A LUCID DREAM!
Mar. 30th, 2003 11:32 amIt wasn't anything too amazing. I'm just happy I got there. I did it!
Actually, I was just waking up during a dream and I realized, waking, that I was still dreaming. The problem was, since I was so near waking my mind was aware of my eyes being closed so I couldn't see anything. I knew that if I opened my eyes I would wake up. However, since it was a dream I still knew where everything was in the house I was in, in the dream. I tried to fly and it worked. I flew with my eyes closed around the house for a bit. I started to wake up and did the "Spinning" thing to try and maintain it. It worked for a little while, but then I woke up.
Again, nothing special but I finally accieved that state and I'm pretty pleased about it.
They say it's easier the more times you do it. I look forward to more interesting lucid dreams in the future.
I'm just happy it happened.
