Writer's Block: Gobble Gobble

I'm a "buy it and heat it up" kind of cook. However, the more I cook the more I realise it's not so hard. :-) I can make a few things pretty well.
The one thing I make is a fruit salad. When I was little, we were having dinner at a my parent's friend's house. We had a fruit salad that I thought was delicious. My dad's friend's wife told me that it was just canned fruit, cool whip, and mini-marshmellows. Excited, I declared "I can make that!" I was about 8 or 9 then and I still make it on Thanksgiving.
